The crankcase filter should be replaced every 125,000 miles or you can install a maintenance free filter.

I beg to differ on replacement at 125,000 miles. I was experiencing higher crank case pressures on my 2017 ISB 6.7 in my motor home. At 42,000 miles I wasn’t thinking CCV filter but I checked anyway. Dirty and saturated with oil I am now going to replace mabie at every 25,000. I guess its possible someone in the past over filled with oil and caused additional oil vapors to enter the filter, I don’t know, I’m not the original owner. I must say on a rear engine diesel its a real pain in the a$$ to get to.
