What Is an AHI Dosing Module?
The AHI Dosing Module controls the amount of fuel and the time at which it goes to the Aftertreatment Fuel Injector (AFI) through a signal from the ECM. The module contains non-replaceable valves and components within itself that cause it to be a common failing point from the point it was introduced (2013 and up).
Components
There are 2 electrical connections, 1 is the main harness and the other is the fuel pressure sensor, along with 2 fuel connections, 1 on the rear side being the delivery to the Aftertreatment Fuel Injector and the other on top which is the supply to the module. Lastly, there is 1 air connection (which also can be problematic considering the module has its own air pressure regulator and air filter).
