Without identifying and addressing the issue that caused the derate to begin with, you most likely won’t just be able to get out of derate. With that being said, you might be in derate due to a mistake like; your DEF ran out or forgetting to put the ACM supply cable onto the positive terminal of the battery after replacing a battery and starting the truck etc. this is what you would need to do:

Connect a diagnostic scanner capable of communicating with your specific truck

Clear all fault codes related to the derate

(this will most likely be necessary) Perform a forced regen through the diagnostics scanner, to confirm that the truck does not have any issues with the aftertreatment system
